The Research Box Tax committee is currently reviewing a wide range of greening proposals from USDA and IFAS. We will see work increase dramatically over the next year. Both organizations need our thanks for all the work done to meet the greening challange. The Greening Task Force would like to get your observations on greening - contact me at the above address or jackson7@fcircc.org.

On June 27 the research box tax council awarded $5 million in grants for HLB (greening) and canker research. This funding is partly based on the DOC providing $2 million from their budget to be used as matching funds for dollars provided by the Florida legislature. Hopefully the Florida Citrus Commission will approve the DOC staff request for the matching dollars. The commissioners need to hear from you.
